Dudhaleshwar is a holy placeĀ situated on the boundary of Todgarh wildlife sanctuary. Presence of an ancient Lord Shiva temple midst grove of old Banyan and Tamarind trees and a perennial source of spring water provide a serene environment here. The Todgarh Raoli sanctuary is named after the famous historian Col. James Tod, who stayed in this region for some time. Dudhaleshwar is about 28Km. from NH.8 on westward side and can be approached from Bhim or Todgarh.
The forests here represent typical Aravallian flora comprising mainly Dhok, Khair, Salar & Ber Trees. Among a variety of animals & birds represented, sighting of Sambar , Sloth bear & Grey jungle-fowl is common. The sanctuary is the northern most limit for the grey jungle fowl distribution in the sanctuary. Eco-trekking on nature trail gives an ever lasting experience to the nature lover. Ecolodges have been developed here, run by local Eco-development committee.
