Eco destination Raoli is located in the vicinity of Todgarh Raoli Wildlife Sanctuary. It is 28 km west of Bheem town. A pre-independence period rest house constructed by the British rulers overlooking a beautiful lake is the main attraction of Raoli. British administrators stayed here, while on way to Todgarh from Ajmer.
The Raoli lake created by an anicut is home to a variety of resident and migratory birds. A view point has been developed in the rest house itself from where one can view these birds and also scenic beauty of the surrounding hills. Staying and camping facility is available here which is run by the local Eco Development Committee.
Other nearby places of tourist interest:
- Katar: It is a ‘Ghati’ section of a serpentine road having 12 U pin curves, constructed by then British Engineers, a of marvel engineering.
- Todgarh: Todgarh town is named after famous historian Col. James Tod , who stayed here for some time. There are many old buildings of Victorian era in Todgarh.
- Pragya Shikhar : A Jain monument has been developed by restoring old bungalow of Bishop in Todgarh. A single piece of granite stone which is one of the largest in world has been fixed here used & Lord Mahavira have been described on it.
